AHHH so stressful!  I almost didn’t go because no one I asked could go, then Sarah swooped in saved the day (trollingly).  She was like “Oh, I can go” first then “I can’t go” then “I can go if you drop me off” then “Loljk.”  It took free tickets to get her to go.

We ended up really late because Oakland is SO far and Lillian Do sold me her ticket she got for free for $5 so Sarah had that extra.  When we got there Kierra was finished, but there was this other girl opening (Mree) and she was phenomenal.  Such a good voice and really good guitar playing.

When David got on, it was so crazy.  His setlist this year was so much more up-beat from last year due to him having a full band this time.  Unfortunately I didn’t know much from his new album, but things sounded familiar since I tried listening to it today on Spotify.  When he played, “When You’re Single” me and Sarah literally looked at each other and just went, “Lol…our lives…”  So sad, so sad.

Later on, he was giving away a free pair of Skunk Juice headphones.  He said, “Guys please don’t fight for it!”  I was going crazy and I swear, we locked eyes before he threw it.  He threw it in my direction and I leaped up to get it.  I got it and I was SO excited.  Next thing I know, he says “Woah, did you just headbutted a girl?”  Well, I turn around and this girl looks like she was knocked over a little and I felt so embarrassed.  I offered her and her friend the headphones, but they declined.  I felt so embarrassed.  :\ .  Sigh, I’m sorry!  If you ever read this, don’t hesitate to post in my ask box asking for them.  They’re autographed too and still in their box!

Afterwards, his set-list finished and I wanted to get an autograph.  I tried asking the guy at the front if I could get my guitar, but he said I wouldn’t be allowed back in.  So, I kind of gave up on that.  I got a picture with Kierra Folsom and I had NO clue she favorited my tweet earlier.  Crazy stuff.  It was embarrassing too though because I didn’t know how to work the flash on the camera.  Merh.

Later on, I just snuck out and got my guitar and ran back in.  I asked David if he remembered me from last year, but I guess he didn’t really.  He probably meets a lot of people.  He said I did look familiar though.  But anyways, he signed it in a different spot and I asked him to date it as well.  DEFINITELY saving that and coating it now.  I even got some stickers and stuff to put on a guitar case or whatever!  Crazy stuff.

Going home though was a hassle.  We had a nice little heart to heart session on the way to her house.  Dropped Sarah off and she gave me a tour of her house.  She introduced me to her mom and her doggy, who were both so cute.  Her house is awesome!  So jealous.

But going back to my house was the hassle.  Her GPS led me a little somewhere else and I got lost…in Passaic County.  I went up a mountain for about 3 miles and I knew I was lost because the GPS said I “arrived” when I hit a camp-site.  Ugh.  I rushed back home to get back before 11PM, and thankfully it worked out.

Overall though, just an amazingly good night <3 .  AMAZING CONCERT SPENT WITH AN AMAZING FRIEND!  GAH.

This is a Green Lantern ring.  It’s given to those who have indomitable will, and those who will overcome great fear.

I’ve had three at one point, two were plastic, and this one, is die-cast.  
On the day of Nico’s funeral, I decided that my Green Lantern needed a power ring.  After all, someone with indomitable will needed something to channel that energy, right?  So, I gave him one and placed it snugly in his casket.  That way, he can show God that he was more than just a boy, but a superhero for me.

Now everyday, I wear this power ring - regardless of my worthiness of it - in remembrance of my godson, the greatest Green Lantern I’ve ever known.

Emmanuel Francisco Libunao, you have been chosen for one reason. You are an angel that has overcome great fear.
