In the latest edition of “why do terrible things happen to good people”, I have some very unfortunate news to bring to you. The current students most likely know, but the alumni probably are unaware, that a member of our BCA community, Chucky Martinez, was, to quote our dear Dr. Bath, “in a serious car accident tonight.” The following is from an email sent to the students:
Chucky Martinez was in a serious car accident tonight. Mr. Davis has just come from the hospital in Hackensack and reports that the good news is that, if all goes as planned, Chucky is going to pull through. For now, some ribs are broken, his spleen was removed, and he has a lot of recovering to do.
Dr. Bath said he would keep the students informed of Chucky’s condition.
Please, pray for Chucky’s speedy and uncomplicated recovery. If you don’t believe in prayers, make an wish at 11:11 or on a falling star. Or just send good vibes his way.
If any of you have more recent or better news that you feel should be shared, please do. If you want to send in something about Chucky or anything, you can submit (text, video, pictures, etc.) or ask.
